This sounds much better than most 2" speakers on pocket radios. Bass lovers should enjoy this one. Low distortion and able to use rechargeable batteries. Very pleased to find this speaker. A a friend of mine purchased these and called me to let me know how they worked for her since I was in the market for some myself. I went over to her house to see what she was so excited about and it was the IHome Rechargeable Mini Speakers. I was listening to them and was amazed at the sound quality and how crystal clear the sound was. I have owned mini speakers in the past for my ipod as well as my son's and never have they had this great of sound quality. I really like the sleek design of the speakers.
